Class Description

In this intermediate course, you’ll learn how to incise, draw, and glaze on your encaustic painting using pigment sticks. Beginning with a wood panel, you’ll layer in medium, paints and oil pigment sticks to create a textured encaustic painting. All materials are included in the class fee, allowing you to walk away with a completed piece. *It’s recommended to take the Introduction to Encaustics course or to have encaustic painting knowledge prior to taking this class.
